With his balanced temperament, willingness to work and natural talent, he is an excellent prospect for classical dressage as well as an exceptional partner for ambitious leisure riders. From the very beginning, Galeón has been trained according to the principles of classical dressage, resulting in a horse that is easy to ride, responsive to subtle aids and well balanced. He understands his work, responds willingly and confidently, and is equally happy stretching long and low on a loose rein while remaining relaxed and supple. Galeón offers expressive, ground-covering gaits with natural cadence, elasticity and nice freedom of the shoulder. He clearly enjoys his work, learns quickly and approaches every training session with enthusiasm, making him a pleasure to ride. His pedigree is equally remarkable. On his dam’s side, he descends almost entirely from Escalera bloodlines, renowned for producing elegant, athletic and highly rideable PRE horses.

His paternal grandsire, Pastelero VII, is one of the most distinguished PRE stallions of recent decades. Bred by Yeguada Piñero, he holds both Elite and Calificado status and has sired well over one hundred registered offspring. Internationally recognized for passing on exceptional quality and talent for classical dressage, Pastelero VII has become one of the breed’s most influential sires.
