Description

COLAPSO RC * 22/10/2021 is a baroque dapple grey PRE gelding of the baroque type, combining his strong, classical conformation with attractive athletic qualities. At approximately 1.60 m, he is also a very practical and comfortable size.

Colapso is currently in professional training and is being developed carefully according to his age. He is established in all three basic gaits and has already started lateral work very nicely. As shown in the video, he is beginning half-passes and is worked laterally in all three gaits. He is ridden in a simple snaffle and shows a very solid foundation for his young age. Colapso is also used to  hacking out and has already experienced traditional Spanish events such as Romerías and Ferias. His pedigree combines dressage bloodlines with traditional PRE Carthusian lines. His sire, Italico de JC IV, descends from strong dressage lines including Camacho Benítez and Granda Losada, as well as Salvatierra, Lumbreras (bell brand) and Yeguada Militar.

His dam, Cardosa, is predominantly influenced by proven old Carthusian bloodlines. Her pedigree includes Cárdenas, Terry (curb-bit brand), Cámara Gálvez, Zúñiga and Guadiana.

Colapso RC is therefore a very interesting young PRE gelding for anyone who appreciates the traditional baroque Spanish type while also looking for rideability and versatile, solid training. A beautiful dapple grey with a good foundation, interesting bloodlines and an impressive amount of experience for his age.
