Description

Cohiba JC  * 02/2023 is an intelligent and feminine chocolate palomino mare who immediately catches the eye with her rare and striking colour. Her liver chestnut coat combined with long, light flaxen mane and tail makes her truly unique.

However, Cohiba stands out not only for her looks but also for her breeding and upbringing. She comes from a caring private breeding program and has been raised in a natural and horse-friendly environment. You can see a picture just after birth in the picture gallery.  Her dam, Malibu del Chacha, is an Anglo-Arab mare owned by the breeders, known for her quality, rideability, and excellent character. The owners themselves are experienced dressage riders and trainers. Malibu herself has been achieved by her owners, who are dressage riders and trainers, when she was 1 year old, directly from the breeder, where she grew up in the wide natural fields. We have also published a picture of Malibu as foal, as well as one of her sire and one of her Palomino mother (Cohiba’s grandparents). Malibu is currently living in a field nearby the stables. Cohiba has been bred by her current owners and raised under optimal conditions. Her sire is the PRE stallion Valedor AR, (see pictures and pedigree!) contributing type, expression, and movement quality.

She has been gently started under saddle and already has some experience hacking out. Just like her dam, she is uncomplicated, willing to learn, and easy to handle. Her movements are of good quality, providing a strong foundation for further training in dressage or as a versatile leisure horse.
