Querido Leguizamon *03/01/2022is a stunning, tall, snow-white PRE stallion with an elegant presence and harmonious, expressive dressage movement. Raised naturally on the extensive pastures of his breeder, he enjoyed an ideal upbringing within the herd. He was gently started under saddle at the age of three and a half and is now being trained regularly according to the principles of classical dressage. Querido is kind, willing to learn, and enjoys working with his rider, making him an exciting prospect for the future. His sire, Aguileño de Centurión ( see pictures!), is a son of the legendary PRE breeding stallion Fer Bago https://lilyforado.com/el-legado-de-fer-bago/ from the breeder Ferrero, a Calificado stallion. His grandsire is the legendary Mañoso II (video: https://youtu.be/sB6lv3TXp90?si=1VA7YpFd0IMc-EpI) Fer Tempranillo, himself a son of the Qualified Breeding Stock stallion Mañoso II, was crowned Young Champion of Spain and Young Champion of Spain of Movements at SICAB 2003. Fer Bago’s dam Malagueña CEN, bred by Yeguada Centurión, is also Qualified Breeding Stock and Young Recommended for Dressage, with an outstanding record in morphological competitions. She is daughter of Eslida CEN and Rondeño IX, both calificado approved, while Rondeño IX was crowned Adult Champion of Spain at SICAB in both 2004 and 2005. On his dam’s side, Querido carries valuable and increasingly rare Cartujano bloodlines, including the prestigious Guardiola, Bocado (curb-bit brand), Sánchez Corado, and Andrés Holgado (Los Pozos) breeding lines.
