PTL Afgano *06/05/2018   is a purebred Arab gelding, registered in the Spanish Arabian Studbook. He combines the elegance, intelligence and charisma of the Arabian breed with an exceptional level of training and a kind, people-oriented temperament. He is showing expressive, floating movement, natural balance and athletic ability moving in freedom performing playful flying changes and demonstrates the lightness and elegance for which the Arabian horse is admired. He has been trained to a high level in the traditional discipline of Doma Vaquera, which demands agility, balance, responsiveness and independent thinking from the horse. His training level includes the basic gaits as well as walk and canter pirouettes, hind turns, half pass in walk, trot and canter, flying changes up to every second stride, sliding stops and rollbacks.

Afgano responds beautifully to subtle seat and voice aids and can be ridden one-handed with ease. Even after fast, demanding work, he immediately relaxes again on a long rein, demonstrating an exceptional balance between sensitivity and mental composure. He is also familiar with trail riding, long-distance rides, traffic, traditional Spanish Romerías and pilgrim rides, and can be ridden confidently both alone and in company.
