Violetero de Vara II * 21/02/2022 is a stunning PRE rose grey, fairy tale type horse. He carries the heart-shaped brand of the Vara Muñoz breeder, a true rarity to find! Violetero is a gentle representative of his breed, a heart of gold and playful, yet full of energy when he has the opportunity to enjoy himself running freely. Watching him move is a real pleasure: his impressive, expressive gaits, the way he lifts his legs and engages his hindquarters, are fascinating. These characteristic movements also make him so comfortable to ride, as there is very little up-and-down movement to absorb, almost like sitting on a comfortable sofa!
Hacking, he is stays calm and confident, even big trucks do not disturb him. The heart-shaped brand, representing his distinguished breeding heritage, is a sign of the particular qualities and characteristics associated with these bloodlines. Both parents come from the Vara Muñoz breeder. His sire, Faraon Var II, is a son of the legendary Judio VII (1.64 m, Calificado), one of the most influential PRE breeding stallions of his generation.
Judio VII was three times Spanish Reserve Champion (2000, 2001 and 2005), won numerous gold medals and produced a large number of award-winning offspring. In 2007, he represented the PRE breed at Fieracavalli in Verona. Through Judio VII’s sire, Bellico II, this bloodline also traces back to the traditional Carthusian (Cartujano) breeding programme of Viuda de Terry, whose horses remain highly valued for their historic bloodlines and exceptional quality. Violetero’s mother, Violetera XXII, descends almost exclusively from Vara Muñoz breeding over many generations, with numerous ancestors holding prestigious breeding qualifications and distinctions, including Calificado status and the Red Ribbon distinction. She is also a daughter of Zurcidor IX, bred by Granda Losada, descending from the Orfebre–Gorrón bloodline of the Spanish State Stud (Yeguada Militar).
Opportunities like this are rare: to acquire such a magnificent PRE with this exceptional temperament, charming personality and distinguished pedigree is something truly special.
