Description

Dante Garrocha, born on 05/08/2020, is a stunning, baroque-type PRE gelding with a thick mane and a wonderfully charming temperament.

He was bred in a neighboring stable (see his foal photo) and was gently started under saddle at the age of three. After about three months of basic training, he spent two years with a family and their little disabled daughter (then three years old), to whom he brought great joy and affection. During that time he was only ridden occasionally and lived in an open stable.

Despite the longer breaks from riding, he could always be taken out on hacks without any problems – a testament to his incredibly sweet nature, calmness and reliability. As there was no riding arena at his previous home, he is still inexperienced in arena work, but he is very willing, attentive and eager to learn. He is a horse to fall in love with, full of potential, now looking for a new family and new challenges.

His dam, Joya Garrocha (see photos), is a proven baroque broodmare from the breeder’s stud. The dam line – including Isleña XXXI, whom we knew personally – has produced many excellent and highly awarded offspring.
