Careto JV *26/07/2008 is a pretty, old type medium sized PRE gelding, well trained to a very pleasant level, including hacking out and trekking rides. This horse is a rare finding! He has been started late when he was 5,5 years old. He has been trained for the past 4,5 years by a well-known German classical dressage rider, Rainer Strobl, slowly and without any time pressure, allowing him time to learn and develop muscles as he is now fit and absolutely healthy thanks to the gentle professional way of riding and training, always including a versatile training including lots of hacking out. He has all lateral work, half pass, shoulder in, travers, renvers and he is very easy and fine to ride with light hands and reacting fantastic on body seat commands. His gaits are very comfortable, his trot and canter are as cozy as a sofa, and his movements are well developed and nice for dressage. He has a very nice friendly mind, bonding easily. His blood lines are remarkable: sired by Moret II (buckskin) who is son to buckskin Carmelo II (Paco Marti). He is strongly based in pure Carthusian blood lines combined with Yeguada Militar.
