Strandrestaurant am Ende des Strandes von La Cala an der Seite wo es Richtung Marbella geht. Erreichbar mit dem Auto Autobahn Richtung Marbella, nach ca 2 km Torre Nueva, unter der Autobahn durchfahren und am Strand rechte Seite liegt das restaurant mit Parkmöglichkeit Tel 0034 952 493 737 und 0034 952 494 481

Restaurant Mijas-Playa

Dieses gehobene Restaurant liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade. Man fährt im Ort La Cala Richtung Ortsausgang Malaga und nimmt die letzte kleine Strasse rechts zum Strand.Dort parkt man direkt vor dem Restaurant oder vor "Delphinos". Gemütliches Ambiente, englischer Stil.

This well-known restaurant is situated at Mijas Costa beach near the N340. Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and superb service make the Mijas Playa a first class restaurant for a special night out. The menu is extensive with many regional specialities and a wine list to satisfy all pockets. There is a small dance floor and a pianist who plays most evenings. I probably prefer this restaurant to Valpariso but it's a close thing. Prepare to be spoilt!For reservations tel. 952 49 37 49

In Mijas Costa liegt das neue Restaurant Max Beach, das Gästen von der Terrasse aus eine großartige Sicht auf das Meer bietet.

Aber nicht nur diese Tatsache macht das Restaurant zu etwas Besonderem. Schon der Name hat eine eigene Geschichte: Auf der Rückseite der Speisekarte steht: „Max ist ein kleiner Hund, der von einem Auto angefahren wurde und von einem Mann gerettet wurde, der beschloss, ihn bei sich aufzunehmen und ihn Max zu nennen. Später eröffnete dieser Mann ein Restaurant, dem er ebenfalls den Namen Max gab.“
Die Speisekarte bietet sowohl etwas für den Gourmet, als auch für denjenigen, der lieber gute Hausmannskost isst. Zu den Spezialitäten des Hauses zählt eine Vielzahl von verschieden zubereiteten Garnelen. Als spezielle Hauptgerichte kann man von Châteaubriand im Salzmantel bis zu frischem Thunfisch allerlei Leckereien finden. Der Rest der Karte bietet unter anderem noch Salate, Pasta und Geflügelgerichte, und auch ein Angebot von indischen Spezialitäten stehen zur Auswahl. Die zusätzliche Cocktailkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Wer sich einmal einen besonderen Abend in einem schönen Ambiente gönnen will, für den ist das Max Beach Restaurant genau das Richtige.

Empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit italienisch-spanischem Flair direkt am kleinen Sportshafen von Cabopino. Von La Cala Richtung Marbella, nach nur ca 6-7 km Ausfahrt Cabopino zum Hafen.

El Rinconcito

Ausgezeichnetes Strandrestaurant, internationale /italiensche/ spanische Küche. Man sollte keinen Zeitdruck haben und mit langen Wartezeiten rechnen, aber es lohnt sich! Empfehlung: Tagesmenu, frisch, lecker und günstig! Küstenstrasse Richtung Algeciras fahren,
Ausfahrt El Rosario (etwa 8 km vor Marbella). Zurück auf die A7 (N340) ein kleines Stück Richtung Malaga und die Ausfahrt Mic Mac oder danach nehmen, zum Strand runter fahren, parken und zu Fuß am Strand zum Restaurant gehen. 952 838 904, C/ Berlín 20

This smartly decorated restaurant in comfortable chalet style with tasteful interior is just minutes from Elviria at the El Rosario turn-off next to yellow cars. There is ample parking and a glorious terrace for summer, warm and inviting for winter. Flamenco show every Sunday from mid June at 21:30. Reservation recommended

Vista del Mar ist ein gemütliches Restaurant am Meer mit speziellen Mittags- und Abend-Menus, àla carte und und Angeboten. A7 Richtung Marbella Ausfahrt km 199 Riviera. Am besten parkt man auf der rechten Seite der Autobahn (Richtung Marbella gesehen), direkt bei Miraflores Parkplatz (also noch ein paar Meter wieder zurück fahren) und läuft zu Fuß über die kleine Fußgängerbrücke zur anderen Seite, wo man sich dann nach rechts wendet zum Eingang des Restaurants. ein authentisches traditionelles spanisches Restaurant mit feinsten Köstlichkeiten....saisonfrische Gemüsebeilagen und alte überlieferte Familienrezepte aus dem Baskenland, aber auch typische andalusische rustikale Feinheiten kommen hier auf den Tisch. For authentic Spanish cuisine with an emphasis on dishes from Northern Spain. This is a wonderful place in the summer to sit outside on the terrace overlooking the Plaza de la Constitution in Mijas Village centre. In the winter you move inside to a snug room with the smell of burning olive wood ... whatever time of the year you will enjoy one of my favourite restaurants. My choice on the menu is caracoles (snails in a stew) followed by leg of lamb (but only if you like garlic) and you must finish off with the house speciality Soufflé (order for 2 ... will satisfy 5!). Marrokkanisches authentisches Restaurant in Fuengirola. Ausfahrt Fuengirola schräg Richtung Stadtmitte, erste Ampel rechts gegenüber Hotel Pyramidos. Couscous, süße Hünchengerichte mit Trockenobst, gigantische Lammkeulen, Gemüseplatten und unbedingt die Teigtaschen mit Hühnerhack/Mandeln und Puderzucker als Aperitiv bestellen. Ponchos argentinisch

If its steak you are after then this is the place! ... Argentino beef at it's best. A good choice of starters including Argentinean meat pies ... still have to find out what they are! The fillet of beef is fabulous and comes in 2 sizes ... only order the 'grande' if you are really hungry or just plain greedy. This place buzzes with locals so a reservation is a 'must'. Located in the centre of Fuengirola in Calle Martinez Catena, opposite the bowling alley.

MONDA

Castillo de MONDA

This majestic 15th century Moorish castle is situated above the white village of Monda, just a 10 minute drive from Coin and approximately 30 minutes from Mijas ... the drive though is well worth the effort! Jill & I have been told many times that we must try the restaurant here but never seemed to get round to it ... until now ... and have we been missing out! The food is absolutely superb, and beautifully presented ... not cheap by Spanish standards (approx. 50 euros per head with wine, 2006), but if you would like a special night or Sunday lunch then Castillo de Monda is a 'must'.
